[Love] From "Naka-love is the only way to win"

Roughly speaking

  1. Continue to become addicted to From's philosophy.
  2. Western thought is logical. A logical thinking that follows Aristotle.
  3. Oriental thought is paradoxical. It guides the logic of the act of cultivating love for neighbors through self-love.

From's philosophy is interesting

The third installment right away.

Fromm's love is interesting.

From To love

From Divorce is a good opportunity to teach your child to escape from misfortune

This book incorporates a novel interpretation of the act of loving, but the conclusions that lead to it are generally difficult to understand.

The reason is simple, and it is contradictory in logic that is currently being used frequently.

This paradoxical logic of fostering love for neighbors through narcissism is actually a logic that Eastern thought has used.

Western thought and science are supported by Aristotle's logic

Western thought basically followed Aristotle's logic. It is as follows:

1. Equal rules: A is A.
2. Contradiction Law: A is not a non-A.
3. Exhaust-modern rule: A cannot be non-A at the same time as A, and it is not possible that it is not A or at the same time not non-A.

Aristotle's logic became the basis of modern science, and science became the most successful religion in modern times.

However, the result of being so successful that thought was placed more on God than God, and the obsession that correct thinking and knowledge are the truth for success. The following concept of Eastern thought became difficult for many people to understand.

Oriental Thought

Oriental thought is paradoxical, allowing it to be both A and non-A. Laozi wrote the following:

"Words that are strictly true seem paradoxical."

Meanwhile, Zhuangzi leaves behind this.

"There is one thing that is one. There is one thing that is not one."

Can you imagine it? What is more specific is India's Brahmin philosophy. Brahmin philosophy introduces the concept of perception, and tries to overcome the contradiction of "A and non-A" by separating the reality of things and perception.

Two opposing things are perceived not because things are at odds, but because the perceived minds are at odds. To reach true reality, perception must transcend itself.

Vedanta philosophy also refers to the concept of God, developing perception into thought.

Thinking is nothing more than ignorance, no matter how good it is. Therefore, we cannot know God, the only real being, through thought.

If God is the highest reality, then man cannot speak positively about him. In other words, even if we can know what God is not, we cannot know forever what God is.

So how do we know God, the only real being? It can only be known through thoughts, not by thinking about love for God, but by experiencing a sense of unity with God.

So, how should we act to experience oneness with God? This is where the right way of life is emphasized. This means that you will gain a sense of unity with God through daily self-training and self-change.

If we can achieve a sense of unity with God, then perhaps it is God. I come to the conclusion that I am the God.

Since there is no distinction between me and God, is self-love and love for your neighbor separate in love? No, this is union. The act of cultivating self-love is the act of cultivating love for your neighbor. In the first place, there is no distinction between yourself and others.

In order to love, you first need to develop healthy self-love. Narcissism involves the concentration of the mind, such as meditation, and the sense of self through the whole body, understanding that there is no distinction between the self and others, the self and society, the self and nature, and the self and God.

To love is nothing but to love your neighbor just like you love yourself.

It may have been difficult to guide this philosophical thinking. You can start with From right away, but let's start with philosophy.

To understand philosophy, you need to start by thinking for yourself. It's easier to understand if you start with familiar topics. This book introduces and explains philosophy from familiar topics. It's said that from the age of 14, but don't underestimate it.
