GTD in Notion
It's been a while since I've talked about Notion. I finally stopped using Notion and a to-do app together, and since I can do GTD, I've decided to stick with Notion.
For tips on how to use Notion by yourself and an introduction for beginners, please see the articles below. 【Notion】【With a 1-month invitation link】Notion is better than Evernote for managing your life 【Notion】It's Notion, not Evernote series【Create a book review gallery】 【Notion】Notion over Evernote. Let's take a look at Notion templates.
Recently, I've been thinking that I need to organize my Notion data or it will get buried, so I've started organizing it with tags. The number of items has exceeded 100,000, and now it feels like it's going to eat up all the information on earth.
When I'm doing my hobby of strength training recently, it's fun to look back on Notion while I'm running. The data connects with every step I take.
This time, I want to tell you about the wonderfulness of being able to do the legendary work method, GTD, in Notion. First, if you don't know GTD, let's learn about it in the next chapter lol
GTD (Getting Things Done)
I've been using it since 2011, and it's a work method that has supported me in some way, and that's GTD.
GTD is officially called "Getting Things Done," and it's especially useful when you're feeling overwhelmed and can't concentrate. Its strength is that it allows you to put the things that are bothering you outside of your head and automate them with a system, so you can concentrate 100% on one thing.

GTD consists of 5 steps. Of the following, the most important is "Capture." The essence of this work method is to get everything that is on your mind out of your head and entrust it to the GTD system.

Especially for "Capture," it is important to use a trigger list, which is a list for pulling out things that are in your head. Periodically use the list to knock out the tasks that accumulate in your head. Put the things you knock out into the "inbox," a box where you can put anything.
Next, what is important is "Clarify" and "Organize." In "Clarify," if you can do it in 2 minutes, do it right away, and if it's a task that takes more than 2 minutes, move on to the next step, "Organize." In GTD, you are not supposed to accumulate things that you can do in 2 minutes.
"Organize" is done according to the flow in the diagram below. The blog at the link below is a super famous blog in the GTD community, so I hope you will refer to it, but you organize your tasks according to the basic flow of GTD and put them on the proper shelves.

From then on, you will execute. Let's update the GTD system periodically, such as daily or weekly. And the most suitable for that GTD system is Notion.
Notion's GTD Template
The GTD Notion template makes full use of Notion's functions and expresses the GTD master list in various ways. For details, please refer to the template.
However, since it is difficult to practice GTD without reading a book and understanding it systematically, I would like you to first read "Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity (Revised Edition)" (David Allen/Futami Shobo), which has reached the level of perfection as an introductory book. This is the third book, and the essence of GTD is finally in a structure that is easy to understand, and personally, this is the best book, including past works.
Free Invitation Link
Notion itself has a free version, but there is a limit to the number of items you can save (300), so I feel that it is a little unsatisfactory to realize the goodness of Notion.
It may take some time to get used to it because it is multifunctional, but you can try it for one month from this invitation link, so please give it a try.
